Top American counterintelligence officials have informed the CIA that informants hired by it to spy for US are being captured, killed or compromised by other nations. As per the report, the US intelligence agents are being hunted down by Russian, Chinese, Iranian and Pakistani intelligence agencies. Dozens of cases involving the killing of foreign informants were analysed by CIA’s counterintelligence mission centre.
