Edward Snowden blamed CNN of twisting facts that he was willing to forfeit books

Edward Snowden has accused CNN of distorting the facts by alleging that he was ready to abandon book proceeds in favour of the US govt. Citing US court documents, CNN reported that Snowden agreed to forfeit over $5 million he had allegedly earned from his book but the whistleblower says CNN has badly misreported this. The news channel says a federal judge had with Justice Dept that filed a lawsuit to seize Snowden's proceeds.
