According to a US-govt funded study it has come to public knowledge that coronavirus can survive on surfaces or in the air for several hours. The deadly virus was detectable for up to two to three days on plastic and stainless steel, and for up to 24 hours on cardboard. Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic has so far killed nearly 8,000 people globally, and the number of infected people is approaching 2 lakh.
