Coronavirus cases in India breach 6,000 mark, death toll at 199

As India enters day-17 of nationwide lockdown, the count of the coronavirus cases has gone past 6000-mark and stands at 6,412 according to the union ministry of health. A total of 199 deaths have been reported due to the pandemic. Maharashtra remains worst affected after reporting confirmed 1,135 COVID-19 cases and 72 deaths on Thursday. However, 17 COVID-19 cases and 3 deaths were reported in Asia's biggest slum Dharavi.
