Amid the rising number of coronavirus cases in India, experts feel that the vaccine development process in the country is still at a nascent stage and any concrete breakthrough is not likely within a year. The Indian govt and private firms have stepped up efforts to develop a vaccine to halt the spread of Covid-19 which has killed over 3,700 people and has infected more than 125,000 people in the country.
