Crime against children on hike with 500% increase over a decade: NCRB

A data released by National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) suggests that crime rate against children in India has increased by 11% between 2015 and 2016. An increase of 12,786 reported crimes against children have been observed and NGO CRY showed a steady hike of more than 500% over the past one decade. More than 50% of crimes against children have been recorded in UP, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and West Bengal.
