Curb all peace-time activities, be ready for worst case scenario: CDS General Bipin Rawat to tri-services

Amid the ongoing border tensions with China, the Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat has asked the armed forces to curb all peace-time activities to lend support to the troops deployed in the Ladakh region. The CDS has asked the troops to be ready in case of a worst-case scenario. He has also asked the Navy to focus on Andaman and Nicobar Island to monitor Chinese activities in the Indian Ocean.
