Dalai Lama says sexual abuse by Buddhist teachers is not new

While meeting victims, who petitioned to meet him to speak about sexual abuse by Buddhist teachers, Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has accepted that he already knows about these allegations and they are nothing new. He also said that he was made aware of these problems 25 years ago and these abusers don't care about Buddha's teachings. His representative said that the Lama denounces such unethical behaviour.
