The world’s insects are on the path of extinction, which is a warning of the disastrous collapse of nature’s ecosystems. The first global scientific review revealed that more than 40% of the insect species are declining and 1/3rd are endangered. The rate of extinction is 8 times faster than that of mammals, birds, and reptiles, which may vanish within a century. The total crowd of insects is dropping by 2.5% a year.
