Delhi gets first smog tower to combat air pollution

The national capital's first ‘smog tower’ became operational today after its installation in Lajpat Nagar. The “smog tower” will purify air in Lajpat Nagar market, which sees an average footfall of nearly 15,000 people every day. It has been installed by the Traders Association Lajpat Nagar (TALN) with the help of east Delhi MP Gautam Gambhir. The tower is 20 feet tall and is installed at a price of Rs 7 lakh.
