India's tallest garbage mountain is in Ghazipur, Delhi and in 2020 it will rise higher than the Taj Mahal, with no respite in the scene. According to the officials, it is already 65 meters high, and the height of Taj Mahal is 73 meters. Ghazipur was opened in 1984 and reached its capacity in 2002. However, it wasn't closed when it should have. At present, approximately 2,000 tonnes of garbage is dumped there every day.
