Director General (Prisons) of Delhi test positive for coronavirus

Sandeep Goel, the Director-General of Delhi Prisons, including Tihar jail, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The Delhi Prisons Department had declared nearly a month earlier that there was no active Covid-19 case among the inmates in its three jail complexes. According to the data shared by the prison authorities, the Delhi prison had 25 cases of coronavirus, including 20 jail staff as of September 13.
