Plastic wastes have been choking the entire world, and the situation is quite alarming now. India now generated an unbelievable 25,940 tonnes of plastic wastes every day. This data was put by Babul Supriyo, MoS for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, in response to a query. The CPCB conducted a study in 60 major cities of India and is estimated that around 4059 ton per day of plastic waste is generated.
