Taking a precautionary measure to prevent the deadly coronavirus from spreading, President Donald Trump stated that the United States will temporarily close its border with Canada to “non-essential traffic” due to the coronavirus pandemic. Trump took to Twitter and wrote: "We will be, by mutual consent, temporarily closing our Northern Border with Canada to non-essential traffic." He also added trade will not be affected.
