Doubling rate down to 7.5 from 3.4 before lockdown; 59 districts didn't report any cases in last 14 days: Govt

Addressing a daily media briefing over the coronavirus in the country, Joint Secretary in Health Ministry Lav Agarwal said the number of districts where no case has been reported in last 14 days has increased to 59. Doubling time of coronavirus cases has gone down from 3.4 before lockdown to 7.5 now. Total 1,553 confirmed cases and 36 new deaths in last 24 hours while 14.75% people have recovered.
