EU declares 15 billion euros to tackle the impact of coronavirus & help weaker nations

The European Union declared 15 billion euros to help poor nations with weak healthcare systems to tackle the impact of deadly coronavirus and also help with economic recovery in the long term. EU President Ursula von der Leyen said the only way to win this battle is with a coordinate global response and hence EU has secured over 15 billion euros to help the world combat COVID-19. Most of the EU still remains under lockdown.
