Research suggests that even if the Paris goals are fulfilled, still the melting of the Antarctic ice sheet will cause sea-level rise of 2.5 m across the world. The melting is likely to take place over a long period but is nearly impossible to be irreversible. Even if temperatures were to fall again after rising by 2C, the ice won't regrow to its initial state due to the self-reinforcing mechanisms that destabilise the ice.
