Fight climate change: Ireland to plant 220 lakh trees each year

Global warming is a concern as the changes in the weather are visible now. In a landmark move, the Ireland government has made a national policy that says that they will plant 220 lakh trees each year over the next 2 decades to fight climate change. In June, Ireland had published a climate action plan where they proposed 8,000 hectares of new forest every year to minimize the carbon footprints.
