For 1st time, world's largest, Maersk Line, moves containers on Indian NW-1
It is a big thing for India after Maersk Line, the world’s largest container shipping firm, moved 16 containers on the river Ganga (National Waterway-1) from Varanasi to Kolkata. It comes as a step to grow shipping industry of India. The good news was announced by the Ministry of Shipping. For the first time, this company is on board India’s inland waterways.
