For 6th day banks to remain close, 10L employees on strike

Today is the 6th day that all the public sector banks will remain closed across the nation. This is because nearly 10 lakh bank employees are on a day-long strike. The close was called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). On Friday also it was a day-long strike and on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday it was a bank holiday. The reason for the strike is the intended alliance of many public sector banks.
