Former Meghalaya CM's son charred to death after car catches fire in Ri-Bhoi district

37-year-old Ferdinand B Lyngdoh, an assistant professor at a college affiliated to the Imphal-based Central Agriculture University, was charred to death after his car caught fire while he was travelling on the Shillong-Guwahati highway on Saturday. Lyngdoh was the youngest son of former Meghalaya Chief Minister late E K Mawlong. As per the reports, Lyngdoh's vehicle suddenly caught fire in the Umran area of the Ri-Bhoi district.
