According to research, the latest human ancestors may have climbed trees regularly. The researchers came to this decision after analyzing the leg bones of an older species. However, this points toward a diverse evolution of locomotion culminating in the upright humans of present times. The older fossil that lived on this Earth, approximately 2.8 million years ago, had a similar bone structure with its modern counterparts.
