Ghaziabad to house Uttar Pradesh’s first detention centre for foreigners

According to a report, the first detention centre of Uttar Pradesh will be set up in Ghaziabad. The state government is turning an SC/ST students' hostel in Ghaziabad's Nandgram into the detention centre. This is in line with the orders of the Centre, which has called for at least one such detention centre in each state. Foreigner detainees who have been released by the court will be housed in these centres.
