Global greenhouse gas emissions must peak in next 4 years: UN report

A leaked UN report on climate change has said that the emissions of greenhouse gases across the world must peak in the next four years. The report titled the sixth assessment report also says that the coal and gas-fired power plants must close in the next decade in order to avoid a climate breakdown. "Top emitters dominate emissions in key sectors, for example the top 1% account for 50% of emissions from aviation,” the report says.
