The Goa government is drafting India's first-ever policy on heritage structures to preserve, conserve and promote the state's 100 odd heritage sites. The state government will be ready with the policy by the end of 2020. Goa Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Kavlekar, who heads the state archaeological department said the government is preserving around two crore documents pertaining to the Portuguese rule.
