Govt allows lowering of cut-off percentage by 6% for NEET-PG for 2019-20

Without mentioning any reason, the Health Ministry, in discussion with the Board of Governors in the Medical Council of India, has decided to reduce the qualifying marks for NEET-PG for 2019-20 by 6% to be eligible for admissions to PG medical courses. As per the statement, the minimum percentage for general category candidates is 44%, while for disabled candidates is 39% and 34% for SC/ST & OBC category candidates.
