Comet Halley is all set for a return after 76 years. The last time it entered the inner solar system was in 1986. "Every year the Earth passes through these debris trails, which allows the bits to collide with our atmosphere where they disintegrate to create fiery and colourful streaks in the sky," NASA said while adding that Comet Halley will create the most beautiful and the brightest meteor shower of the year called the Orionid.
