Health Ministry may introduce several Covid-19 vaccines in India

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan has said that the government is open to "introducing several Covid-19 vaccines in the country". "Considering the large population size of India, one vaccine or vaccine manufacturer will not be able to fulfill the requirements of vaccinating the whole country," the minister said. He added that the government has not decided on granting emergency authorisation to vaccines.
