IMD on Monday stated that HP recorded highest ever rainfall in the last 24 hours and broke the record of previous 70 years. The highest amount of rains poured in Shimla, Bilaspur, and Hamirpur. The state is said to have received highest ever, 102 mm of rainfall in last 24 hours. Weather is said to clear after the next 24 hours. Affected people from Tapu village have been airlifted at 2:00 am last night.
