Himachal Pradesh government extends closure of schools till September 4

The Himachal Pradesh government has announced that schools in the state will remain closed till September 4. The announcement was made by education minister Govind Singh Thakur. Thakur also talked about the government's plan to fill up 4,000 vacant posts of different categories of teachers. "Out of these 4000 posts, 2640 posts of teachers would be filled in Elementary Education Department," the minister said.
