Home Minister Amit Shah reaches Srinagar for his first Kashmir visit since abrogation of Article 370

Union Home Minister landed in Srinagar for a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir. This is Shah's first visit to the Union Territory since the landmark decision of abrogating Article 370. The Home Minister was received at the airport by J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Shah will chair a high-level meet with security and intelligence chiefs at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar to discuss the escalation in the violence in the valley.
