Huawei CFO arrested in Canada, China requests to release her

Huawei's global chief financial officer Meng Wanzhouis has been arrested in Canada at the request of United States. However, China has firmly opposed the arrest and made a request to Canada to release her. The Chinese spokesperson said they are monitoring the whole thing closely and are ready to take all the required measures to protect the interests of the Chinese citizens. Huawei also denied any wrongdoing by its CFO.
