Hundreds of women in Australia just won a revolutionary case against companies owned by Johnson & Johnson. Thousands of women had mesh and tape products implanted to treat pelvic prolapse or stress urinary incontinence. The mesh eroded internally causing severe pain, inability to have intercourse and even psychological toll. The court said that the company didn't test the devices properly before bringing them to the market.
