In a first, British lesbian couple carry a baby in both wombs

Jasmine Francis-Smith gave birth to her son Otis recently. The egg was implanted by the London Women's Clinic after it was first incubated by her wife Donna. Even though artificial incubation is common, this is the first instance of “share motherhood” in which both the parents contributed. They said that in case of same-sex parenthood usually one person is involved and they are happy to be involved equally in this process.
