India now among the countries with euthanasia laws

A judgment by Supreme Court on passive euthanasia has put India on the list of the few nations with euthanasia laws. As per the law, the suffering of a terminally ill patient can be ended after a request has been submitted. The law was first implemented in the Netherlands in 2002. Already there has been a huge debate regarding this topic but many countries like Belgium, Italy, France have already imposed it in their country.
