India may have more than 6 crore cases of coronavirus by March 21 at worst, says study

According to a study conducted by the Indian Institute of Science, India may report as many as 6.18 crore coronavirus cases by the end of March 2021. However, the cases may be as low as 37.4 lakh in the better-case scenario. According to the study, one or two-day lockdown may prove instrumental in controlling the spread of the infection. In the better case scenario, Covid19 may peak in India by the 2nd week of September.
