According to a report by Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide, India ranks 102 among 117 countries in the Global Hunger Index (GHI) and is falling down in the list continuously. India is behind its neighbours- Pakistan (94), Bangladesh (88) and Sri Lanka (66) and is among the 45 countries that have serious levels of hunger. The report also says that open defecation is still practised in India and it'll take time to vanish.
