India slips four places to 112th rank on WEF’s gender gap index

According to an annual survey, India has slipped four places to 112th rank in terms of the gender gap. The country's rank is amongst the bottom 5 in terms of women’s health and survival and economic participation. As per the World Economic Forum’s Gender Gap Report, India ranks below China, Sri Lanka and Nepal in terms of gender-neutral country. Iceland is the world's most gender-neutral country while Yemen is ranked worst.
