India on Thursday stressed on the need for strategic partnership to fight the coronavirus pandemic, especially in the South Asian region. "India has taken every effort to extend support to our partners around world,” TS Tirumurti, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, said at the Annual Session of Executive Board of UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS. Tirumurti said it is important to create a rapid response force to fight the pandemic.
