India to continue road construction, match Chinese mobilisation across border

After detailed discussions within the security establishment, it has been decided that India must match Chinese mobilisation and not stop road construction on its side of the Line of Actual Control in the Ladakh region. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting with three service chiefs and CDS Gen Bipin Rawat on Tuesday to review the current situation in Ladakh amid the standoff with China.
