India made its stance clear once again by joining 166 nations in endorsing Palestinian "right to self-determination". India voted in favour of the resolution titled "The right of the Palestinian people to self-determination" at the UN General Assembly's Third Committee while United States, Israel, Nauru, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands voted against it. 9 countries, including Australia, Guatemala and Rwanda, abstained.
