Indian army releases Chinese soldier who strayed across LAC in Ladakh, hands over to PLA

Nearly two days after apprehending a Chinese soldier in the Demchok sector of eastern Ladakh after he had strayed across the Line of Actual Control, the Indian Army handed over him to the Chinese side after completion of formalities. The Chinese soldier Corporal Wang Ya Long was handed over at the Chushul Moldo meeting point on Tuesday night. The corporal was interrogated after he was caught carrying civil and military documents.
