Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who is on a two-day visit to India, extended support on India’s bid for permanent membership of the UN Security Council. In a conversation with the media, Sousa said: "India has full support of Portugal to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council." He added that the meeting with India's PM and President will be fruitful for both the nations.
