Internet services suspended in J&K on Afzal Guru's death anniversary

As a protective measure, taken by the govt, internet services have been suspended across J&K on Afzal Guru's death anniversary. Afzal Guru was convicted for his role in the 2001 Parliament attack and was hanged on February 9, 2013. A bandh has also been called by the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front on the death anniversary of Afzal Guru and also on February 11, which is the death anniversary of Maqbool Bhat, founder of theNational Liberation Front.
