Cemeteries in Iraq are now refusing to bury many people as the death toll rises exponentially due to coronavirus pandemic. Many cemetery workers fear that they might contract the disease. So, Iraqi authorities are sending the remains back to hospital morgues where it is piling up. Such pile-ups increase the risk of infection more than the risk of contracting it while burying the corpses. As of now, 42 people have died in Iraq.
