Is gold medal actually made up of pure gold?

The last pure gold medal was given at 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games and after that event, all the gold medals are made up of 92.5% silver. There is a rule that the gold medal should at least have 6 gm of gold. The size of the medal can be different according to the tournaments and will include 1.45% of gold, 6% of bronze and 92.5% of silver. Whereas silver will be made of silver and bronze will be made up of bronze only.
