Jammu & Kashmir Bank brought under RTI, CVC Guidelines

The Jammu and Kashmir Bank will now be under the cognizance of Right to Information Act and Central Vigilance Commission guidelines by June end; a decision taken by the Board of Directors of Jammu and Kashmir Bank. This move was taken to ensure greater transparency and accountability. Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam said the bank had no choice but to be under RTI as it's a government-owned bank.
