Swedish highest mountain peak no longer holds title due to global heating. Scientists confirmed as the glacier at its summit shrunk. A Stockholm University geography professor has been measuring the glacier annually for several years & this year when they took measurements, at the end of summer melt, the northern peak was 1.2m higher at 2,096.8m. The southern peak, which used to be the highest, was 24m less than in 1960s.
