Kerala bags top spot on Niti Aayog's Health Parameters report, UP worst

In terms of overall health performance, Kerala tops the 2nd health index by Niti Aayog. Kerala is followed by Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra on 2nd and 3rd spot respectively. However, UP ranks worst. The health index, which is based on 23 health indicators, was released in February 2018 and has been prepared in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with technical assistance from the World Bank.
