Kozhikode beach gets world’s first Marine Cemetery made up of single-use plastic bottles

In a first, Beypore Beach in Kozhikode, Kerala launched the world’s first Marine Cemetery built out of single-use plastic bottles built by Jellyfish Watersports, with the support of Clean Beach Mission, District Administration, Kozhikode and Beypore Port department. The cemetery was launched on World Wildlife Conservation Day. It has been done to spread awareness about the devastating effects of single-use plastic.
